Latest update: new ways of promotion for artists and songwriters

Artists are now able to pay to promote their works on Spotify’s Home Feed. The newly-launched tool Showcase allows artists to create customized mobile cards to introduce their songs, which will be displayed on listeners’ mobile Home Screen as sponsored recommendation. By default, the recommendation will be shown to a broad audience, but it can also be customized to target certain types of audience. The minimum budget of this promotion is 100 dollars. 

With Spotify on TV, you can enjoy all the music and podcasts you love, right here on the big screen. Flick through artist pages, albums, songs and playlists, and see beautiful artist pages and cover art in TV-sized glory. Control playback with your TV remote, or using Spotify Connect on your phone or tablet. You can even switch between the two, for a totally seamless experience.

Songwriters are also getting more recognition. Through “Songwriter Promo Cards”, songwriters and their fans can create and share songwriters’ Spotify page on social media. Also, each songwriter’s page now features a new “Written By” playlist, which allows listeners to easily discover songs written by a certain person.
